FOCUS: Glory .C. Uwakwe

 

 We now live in a world where everyone is focused on every other person but themselves, focused on their "CAN'T"  than their "CAN"; so focused on the future and how it will turn out that they forget the now. Before I continue, if you haven't read my post on FEAR then you should go read it up. 

 The point is, "THE GRASS IS NEVER GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE, NA OKPOLO EYE DEY WORRY YOU" To my foreign viewers/guests, OKPOLO EYE simply means GREEDY EYES (Greediness). 

 I know it is difficult to stay focused and on track especially in this social media age where everything seems to be going for everyone except you. We all know that with social media, it is what you want to see that is being shown to you. The painful thing is that  we're so focused on the lives of others that we forget to actually live our own lives. Cooking regularly has taught me what works for me and keeps me pumped or charged: which is doing the little chores first before the big ones, that way I get a lot done within a short time but if I eventually start up with the most tedious ingredient preparation, I easily get tired and less motivated but am certain it is different with others. But I found what works for me, which makes doing house chores easy and enjoyable.  "Different strokes for different folks" they said. 

 A wise man said that: you don't ever get to see the full plan of your dream but you just have to start and then keep your "FOCUS" on the big dream. There is a reason we were not all created in same shape, size, height, colour, etcetera, and that my dear is the reason you should be the one to tap into your own beauty and use it rather than focus on another's  till your time runs out. Remember, we don't live forever.  

What works for others WILL NOT  work for you, but yes, it can help you DEFINITELY- vicarious experience.

 You are unique and special, because  there is only one you; no one posseses your kind of talent in the entire world except you, and it is only you that can find and manifest that unique strength and skills. That is the YOU with the little extra that makes the ordinary things you do "EXTRA-ORDINARY".

 You should have role models and people you look up to but spend more time making the best out of you so others eventually have a reason to look up to you too. 

 Finally let me give you a little sad secret, most people you know, trust and expect so much from are NEVER going to believe in you until the moment you start believing in yourself. But, the good news is that; "IT DOESN'T MATTER" because with confidence on a purposeful journey God will send the people you need to believe in you and convince anyone who need to be convinced about you and your unique ability(ies). 

 Take a look at your contact list and tell me how many people can come through for you if need be??? Well, I am certain majority of us can't boast of 30% who would do so. Maybe the people you need are out there and and within your contact list yet. Focus on YOU and push things through for YOU.
