A Timely Reminder ✨
This is often the time people put so much pressure on themselves, especially in the age of social media where it feels like everyone else is doing better.
Take a few steps back…
Ask yourself the things you sincerely asked God for — the ones that aligned with your purpose — that He, in partnership with your effort, made happen.
Good.
Now you’ve done that, hide that in your heart.
So when ingratitude starts to rise, you can count your blessings — name them one by one even.
If there is room to keep doing more and improving, then keep showing up every day. But never for one minute be ungrateful. You sef don try. You sef had a great year in the midst of it all.
Like my 3-year-old will say: “Good job.”
So now…
Don’t rush that chicken when you bite into it — savour the taste.
When you’re with family, be present and laugh till your stomach hurts.
When you’re with friends, be grateful.
The year hasn’t ended, but spend the rest of it staying grateful, thankful, and penning down ideas on how 2026 — in partnership with God — will be better.
Have a beautiful weekend.
And if you love this post, then you will love it here.
