The older I became, the more lost I felt.
Not because life was falling apart.
But because somewhere along the way, I started becoming someone I didn't recognize.
I kept trying to fit into places that required me to shrink.
To prove I was enough.
To fight battles that were never mine.
To keep doing more, hoping "more" would finally make me feel complete.
Until one day, I stopped.
Stopped forcing.
Stopped chasing.
Stopped measuring my worth by how much I could carry.
And in the quiet, I noticed something.
Life has a way of closing doors we were never meant to walk through.
Sometimes what feels like rejection is actually redirection.
It made me wonder...
What if we aren't actually searching for ourselves?
What if we're returning to ourselves?
Returning to the person God already knew before the world had an opinion.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." — Jeremiah 1:5
Maybe the reason so many of us feel lost is because we've been asking everyone except the Source who we are.
Maybe that familiar ache we all carry isn't a sign that something is missing.
Maybe it's an invitation home.
Not to become someone new...
but to remember who we've always been in Christ.
I'd love to know...
Have you ever had a season where getting "lost" actually led you closer to who you truly are?
